a quality standard recognising the inclusivity of business across the Royal Borough of Greenwich
become a business leading the way in supporting a carer-inclusive borough. together we can achieve meaningful change
Specifically developed for the The Royal Borough of Greenwich, The Carer-inclusive Workplace Accreditation is a flexible quality standard established to support business with providing more inclusive work environments for employees who are also unpaid carers.
Our aim is support business, reduce costs and support unpaid carers within our workforce to sustain paid employment. By doing so, we reduce the number of people falling out of employment to provide essential unpaid care in poverty.

Getting started
Getting accredited couldn't be easier. Get in touch, set up a 30 minute consultation with one of our friendly and informal team, and we'll take it from there.
We make it easy, it is 100% free, and we won't disrupt your business.

Why it matters
Carer poverty is a real and growing issue in our modern society. A significant factor is the number of working people with care responsibilities that leave paid employment every day. Many feel pressured into making a life-damaging choice that costs our businesses money, skills, experience and knowledge.

Greenwich Carers Centre
We are a mission-focused charity, dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of carers. Working from our beautiful carers centre, and out across the community we provide an entire range of services to meet the needs of carers.
